When will the merger take place and how does it effect my FSB account?
On Monday, July 2, 2018, Freeport State Bank will officially become a branch of The Bank of Commerce (BOC). Both locations in Harper and Anthony will still be open. Business will be conducted as normal with the exception of online banking, which will now be offered through BOC. You can enroll in the BOC online banking system by clicking here or from our home page. The FSB online banking system will still be available to view historic information prior to July 2, 2018. Balance information will be posted as of June 29, 2018.
Will my FSB online banking system still be available?
Yes. You will have access to the FSB online banking system until July 30, 2019. All of your accounts and the associated transaction history prior to July 2, 2018 will be available.

How do I enroll in the BOC online banking system?
You can access the BOC online banking system by clicking here or from the home page.
Will I need to create a new User Id and password?
Yes, a new User Id and password will be required. If your current FSB User Id and password meets the BOC system requirements, you can use them to create your password for the BOC online banking system, too.
Will the services on the BOC online banking system be the same?
All the services provided on the FSB online banking system will be available as well as online bill pay. Being an online banking customer will also allow you to enroll in our mobile banking app. If you are interested, please contact the bank for additional information.
What about my debit card?
You should receive your new debit card from Bank of Commerce before June 29, 2018 Please follow the instructions that come with your new card concerning activation. Your Freeport State Bank debit card will work until July 1, 2018. After that date, you will need to start using the Bank of Commerce debit card.
When will I need to order new checks and documents from the Bank of Commerce with the new routing number?
You may continue to use checks with the Freeport State Bank name and routing number until June 30, 2020. After June 30, 2020, all accounts will need the Bank of Commerce’s routing number printed on the check. If you have questions, please feel free to call any bank location for more information.
